Abstract:   This study explores the influence of cinematic content from Hollywood, Bollywood, and Lollywood on crime trends in Punjab. As film industries play a significant role in shaping public perceptions, behaviors, and cultural values, their potential impact on societal attitudes toward crime warrants critical examination. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research combines crime statistics from law enforcement agencies with qualitative data gathered through surveys and interviews conducted across diverse demographic groups in Punjab. The study investigates whether exposure to violent, criminal, or morally ambiguous content in films correlates with shifts in criminal behavior, particularly among youth. Differences in thematic content, portrayal of law enforcement, and moral messaging across Hollywood, Bollywood, and Lollywood films are also analyzed. Findings aim to inform media policy, censorship strategies, and crime prevention initiatives, providing a nuanced understanding of the cultural and psychological effects of film consumption in the region.
